Responsibilities:
You will be required to engage in physical data center activities. This includes all tasks associated with rack deployment, rack cabling. These activities including but not limited to the following:
• Show a strong aptitude for troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Experience in passive datacenter components & cable management activities such as coordination,
• labeling, splicing, terminating, connecting, and others.
• This position may shift work that will include days/nights/weekends/holidays.
• Are biased to act in the absence of direction or support.
• Working in cramped and/or elevated locations.
• Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, and gangways safely.
• Termination cables UTP cat6 /cat6A /cat7 [modules - RG45]
• splicing fiber optical (patch panels - closures ]
• Testing by Fluke Networks 5000-8000 /also testing by OTDR.
• Labeling cabling
• Cabinet management - organizing.
Qualifications:
2+ years of cumulative experience with information technology active infrastructure domains such as compute server platforms, storage server platforms, server components, network devices, cabling best practices and IT service delivery principles and best practices
